NEW HD VIDS ON YOUTUBE! HAPPY SUMMER, ROCK MUSIC LOVERS!
Visit GoToZeroMusic's YouTube page for all the latest vids!
I'm going a little bit giddy, here, kids. I and the rest of the band had so much fun at this summer's festivals that we're thinking of pitching tents and moving onto the festival grounds. I'm being completely serious... okay, no, I'm not being serious. But I'm being earnest. And that must count for something.
Anyway, lots of new vids on our YouTube page, so clickety-clickety and check 'em out. Also, lots of new pics on the Images page from both festivals, so again with the clickety-clickety. There is so much wonderful family fun contained therein that you cannot possibly miss it.
We'd like to give a special shout out to our new fans, and you all know who you are. You were the folks that shook the fences at Stars and Stripes, demanding an encore, and the folks that screeched and begged for drumsticks at the Uncle Sam Jam. We loves ya, and we hopes to see ya at the next show, whenever that may be. Keep checking our official hangout here for the latest on new shows and such, and of course, in the meantime, go buy stuff from our Merchandise page. I do have to say, though, that despite the fantastic response we got both festivals, I'm more than a little disappointed that nobody threw underwear at us. That's become somewhat of a staple at our shows, and we got through both festivals with nary a bra. Oh well, at least now you know what to do next time you come see us. Doff 'em and Toss 'em!
Thanks again for making the shows something great, and we can't wait to rock with you again!

That's right, you heard me. TWO FREE SHOWS ANNOUNCED FOR THE SUMMER! Kind of a nice change from those other shows where the door charges a bunch of money to get in, right? Thought so.
Anyway, make sure you come out to the Stars and Stripes Music Festival in Mt. Clemens on Saturday, July 3rd to see GoToZero on the Rock Stage at 9pm! We'll be playing a bunch of the new tunes off the record ROBOTS, as well as a few oldies but goodies from previous records, so don't miss it. It's free, and it's on a saturday night, so none of you have any excuses to miss it. Be there, or be hunted down.
The next show after that is the following Friday, in Brownstown. We're opening for the legendary Eddie Money at the Uncle Sam Jam at 7pm. Come watch us knock the crowd over before Eddie comes up there. Should be a great night, and I expect to see all of you truly devoted and worshipful fans right up front for both shows, screaming and flinging undergarments at us. I'm not kidding. I'll be taking names, so you better be there.
In other news, ROBOTS is finally for sale on our website! Yay! Go to the MUSIC page and click the PayPal button to buy one. It's ten bucks plus fifty cents shipping, and you DO NOT need a PayPal account to buy it. Just click the button, then on the next page, click the link at the lower right that says "Don't have a PayPal account? You can use a Credit Card by clicking here..." and BAM! Musical goodness delivered to your doorstep. For a limited time, all purchases of ROBOTS online shall come with a sticker, post card and a coupon for 25% off a T-Shirt! This promotion goes until June 30th, 2010, so get your orders in now!
That's right, RockMusicLovers, GoToZero's latest record is now available for download from the iTunes store, so GO GET YOURS NOW! Not because we want to make the sale, but because we want you to be able to enjoy the best record we've done to date. Heck, I'm a modest person, and I just love this record, so you should love it to. If you don't love it, I'll be very disappointed in you. ...Very disappointed indeed.
So yeah, go get a copy. Either buy a CD or download your favorites from iTunes right now. Do it. Don't make me tell you more than once...
Load these bad-boys up on your iPod (or, if you're an uber-ultrageek like me, your new iPad which I will have very shortly now...:D) and make like one of those silhouette commercials you used to see on the tube. Hop up and down and gyrate maniacally to the sounds of the greatest band on the planet: GoToZero.
Go download the songs. Now.
Every time I think you guys couldn't possibly outdo yourselves in terms of support, we have another show and you come out in the billions. Thanks to every single one of those rock fans that stood there in front of the Emerald's stage, watching us rock the house down. You guys are too awesome, and we had a great time that night. GoToZero is looking forward to future shows, and maybe even some special appearances, so stay tuned for the latest info on that.
In other news, the GTZ store will be coming online early next week, so be sure to come back and spend thousands of dollars on your favorite band's stuff, like CD's, posters, shirts, postcards, and maybe a few other things. It's going to be huge, so be on dat bus.
In addition to that, there are now four new GTZ vids online at YouTube.com, so click the link over there on the right and check 'em out. I uploaded GTZ playing three songs off the new record, AMAZING, CALIFORNIA CHIC and ROBOTS, and GTZ's cover of U2's VERTIGO, so be sure to grab them all! Even more will be coming online this coming week, so don't be a stranger!
Lastly, be sure to keep checking GoToZeroMusic.com for the latest submissions, because we'll be putting more great stuff from the Emerald show online very soon, including a preview of the GTZ radio spot and tons of photographs! Special thanks to Larry, Mark and Nicki for once again capturing the night on video and in print!
Okay, that's all for now. Be back soon...
That's right, kids! The new CD is out NOW, and it's called ROBOTS (in case you haven't figured that out by now). You can click the image for a popup player from our friends at MySpace and preview some songs off the new record. So do it! Click it! Click it NOW!
Well after a few weeks in the studio the new album is finally finished. We are excited for everyone to hear it. We will have the brand new CD "Robots!" available at our show with Brian Vander Ark at the Emerald Theatre Saturday October 3rd. We have put up three songs for you to preview, "California Chic", "White Horse" and "Freedom of Choice". The first song is about a girl that makes her way out to California to try and "make it big". This is true for just about everyone heading west to become famous. The second song is about a soldier in the war, more specifically Korea proctecting the 38th parallel and needs a little help going out there to complete his mission. The third song is a Devo cover. This song really fit the feel of the whole album.
Go to Zero is now on Facebook, so if you haven't already, drop by our page and say hello.
That's it for now..
Hey, GTZ fans. I just wanted to drop in and let you all know that primary tracking is finished on the new GoToZero CD: ROBOTS. We finished up last weekend, and plan to re-enter the stuido next week for final mixdown and mastering, then it's off to the presses and into your hot little hands! We may even be persuaded to put the CD on sale before the show, which should make things even more interesting on the big night. I'd love to hear all of you sing along with us, and I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy what the Wizard Tony Hamera has done with the tunes. The sound is big, loud and in your face, and this definitely marks the next evolutional step in GoToZero's career. Heck, it may even be a milestone for all of rock and roll, period. Who knows? Only the Shadow. Keyes thinks he knows... but he's on a wicked caffeine blitz.
Okay, a few more tidbits of info. Tickets are NOW ON SALE for the Emerald Show in October, so if you haven't already got yours, for heaven's sake click HERE and buy them chop-chop. That place only holds so many people, and if VanderArk sells too many, some of our fans may miss out, so get hopping and snag yours now. Right now. Do it. NOW!
Uh... oh yes! New T-Shirt design is done, too. All we gotta do now is find a good printer to get them made, and they'll be on sale, too. You absolutely need one of these things. Heck, I'm in the band, and even I want to buy one. I'll be like those dudes in Iron Maiden and wear my own band's shirt while on stage. Yes, I have no shame. Deal with it.
So, in conclusion: Rock and roll lives on, tickets for Emerald still on sale (GET OFF YOUR ASS!) and lotsa good stuff to buy coming really soon. So keep it Constant. I know you will. That's why I loves you peoples.
The official title for GoToZero's new record is entitled ROBOTS, and it's going to be the band's longest and most exciting record yet. It'll include one cover tune, about twelve or so new tracks, and also one old fan favorite that's been remastered. The record officially goes on sale on Saturday, Oct. 3rd, 2009, but won't go on sale online until Sunday the 4th of October, so if you want to be the first to get your copy, better hop to the SHOWS page and pick up some tickets to come see GoToZero and Brian Vander Ark at the EMERALD THEATRE that night!
Bring your people, your family, your friends, your neighbors, and any random homeless people you might run into. And if you don't run into any, take a bus into town and pick some up, then score some tickets for 'em and bring 'em along! There will be wine, women and song, and all manner of things will be well. ...Okay, maybe not wine (then again, who knows?), but definitely women, and most definitely there will be song. Lots of song. Very loud song. Oh yes. So don't miss it!
In other news, we're still adding content to the website, so keep checking for more updates. Soon we will have some all new video clips online from GoToZero's last Emerald Theatre show (the Soul Emotion CD Release Party), and perhaps some new items for sale, too. Lots of goodies to be seen and had in the days to come, so don't be a stranger!
Keep it Constant, rock music lovers.
GoToZero would like to announce the next show: October 3rd, 2009 at the Emerald Theatre in Mount Clemens, Michigan with Brian Vander Ark! Tickets on sale right here and right now, so click HERE and go get some!
The next GoToZero record is underway as we speak! The band is getting together weekly to rehearse and record, and they plan to hit the studio in October to lay the tracks down. Be sure to keep checking the website for the latest news on the record and the show, and keep it constant!
